My name is Lance Campbell, I grew up in the Santa Cruz Mountains off of Summit Road, went to Los Gatos High School followed by UC Davis where I earned my B.S. in Animal Science. I then attended Kansas State University where I earned my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. After completing veterinary school in 2006, my new wife Carol Campbell, also a veterinarian, and I moved to San Diego to begin our careers. After practicing for 2 years with a busy 5 doctor large animal practice in San Diego, my wife and I decided to return to the bay area.
Instead of joining an already established practice, I decided to take the risk and start Bay Equine Veterinary Practice in an attempt to provide mobile equine veterinary services to Santa Cruz and Santa Clara Counties. My goal is to provide clients with the best possible veterinary care from a friendly, compassionate professional. I hope to provide an efficient practice, with a high standard of care, in an attempt to establish a trusting relationship with clients and their animals allowing them to feel at ease and comfortable with their animals care.
